Charity Golf Day

Inconnection delivered the annual Tech Data Golf Day at the renowned Grove Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa. With a number of partners, customers and vendors in attendance, we executed a streamline event filled with fun, networking opportunities and the opportunity to raise money for the chosen charity.

Brief

Our client came to us to arrange and deliver their annual charity golf day which doubled as a business event with partners and vendors in attendance. They required a solution that would blend the business needs with an effective charity day, allowing them to raise funds for the chosen charity and drive business goals simultaneously.

Solution

We chose Grove Hotel, Golf resort & Spa, as the venue for the event. Its award-winning course, luxury accomodation, extensive event spaces, and location, made it the perfect choice to use for the client's brief.

Inconnection produced all event collateral and branded items, ensuring they fit the client’s brand guidelines and were set up in the most prominent areas throughout the venue. In addition, we sourced bespoke prizes relevant to the golf event and displaying the client’s logo.

Guests were greeted on arrival with a dedicated check in, followed by a full cooked breakfast before making their way onto the course for a shotgun start. Throughout the course, activity holes such as 'Beat the Pro' offered guests the chance to win bonus prizes whilst supporting charity, plus the chance to bid on some great auction items for the charity fundraiser.

Post golf, guests enjoyed an informal drinks reception and barbeque, accompanied by the prize-giving, raffle and silent auction.

Outcome

The client had a successful event and gave the team at Inconnection great feedback. They were successful in raising past their target goal for their chosen charity and had ample business opportunities arise off the back of the meetings and networking that took place.
