The Brief

The client, a major automotive repair network, sought to elevate its long-running in-house awards ceremony, which had grown too large and resource-intensive to manage internally. With the venue already secured, they required an experienced agency to streamline operations, coordinate talent and their specific requirements, enhance guest experience and ensure the evening flowed efficiently so attendees could maximise networking and enjoy a fun, high-energy celebration.

Solution

Inconnection began by implementing a comprehensive event management system to manage multiple guest invitation pathways, enabling streamlined registration, accommodation bookings and menu selections that reflected the client’s commitment to offering broad dietary options. Weekly reporting ensured the client had complete visibility of registrations, logistics, and programme development.

With the venue confirmed, our primary focus centred on coordinating a varied entertainment line-up, including the event host, comedian, celebrity band, magician, DJ, saxophonist and supporting talent. This required detailed management of riders, technical specifications, rehearsals and individual performance needs. We designed bespoke awards, produced event branding, photowalls, AV and engaged photographers to elevate the ceremony’s visual impact.

Onsite, our team oversaw the full show flow, from talent movement and supplier coordination to venue liaison and meal delivery, to ensure the dinner and awards segments maintained the fast pace requested by the client. This allowed the evening to transition seamlessly into networking and social time, keeping energy levels high throughout.
