Firstly, consider exchange rates and get better value for your money, when it comes to your travel dates, where possible avoid school holidays. This should help to swerve expensive travel costs and busy slopes! Once you have your travel dates decided, think about offering regional flights, this is important for your delegate journey and to ensure their experience is as enjoyable as possible. When trying to find the perfect ski hotel, there are a few factors to consider…

• Be as flexible as possible as hotels that offer 3 night offers are limited, so it’s worth considering travelling Sunday to Thursday.
• Consider your delegate’s travel experience, pick a resort within 2 hours of a big airport, maximising time spent on the slopes, not getting to them!
• Think about the location of the hotel in relation to lifts, this will come in useful when trying to get yourself to the slopes and means more time getting your ski on! Hire equipment at the resort, this will cut out extra costs around baggage on your flight.
• Consider ski in and ski out over a town centre location.

Once you arrive at your resort, now’s the time to get stuck in and make the most of your ski time, pick a resort that has an altitude of over 3000m, guaranteeing plenty of the white stuff! You could also consider pre booking ski instructors/guides for the group, however if budget is tight just do this on day one to show guests where to go. Finally, when it comes to the end of a long day of skiing, it’s a bonus to be staying in a hotel with a spa in order to boost recovery ahead of another day flying down the slopes!! However, for the more lively members of your group, it’s worth looking at what après ski is available at your resort, après ski plays a big part in the whole ski experience, so make sure the resort you choose offers something that will appeal to you and your group.
