6 July 2015

As we enter Autumn, what better way to view the changing colours of the London skyline, than high up on one of the capital's coolest rooftop bars. Here we have compiled a few of our top choices, that offer you the best views and the most delicious of tipples.

The Best for the Wow Factor

Radio Rooftop Bar at ME London is one of the best choices if you’re after the ‘wow’ factor and looking to impress. With its sleek design and cloud skimming views high up on the 10th floor, Radio offers really everything you could want in terms of being uber cool, offering a view of the capital that includes: The Houses of Parliament, Somerset House, the London Eye, St Pauls, the Shard and Canary Wharf – it’s breath taking! For private events, areas of the rooftop can be reserved and come with a minimum spend per person. Used year round, this partially covered rooftop is also kitted out with heaters, guaranteed to keep you toasty on the chillier of days! Due to the popularity of Radio, bookings are taken up to a month in advance so it’s wise to get in early!

Missing the greenery of your garden now that the weather is turning cooler? how about The Sky Garden as an option? Way up high (37 levels in fact) you’ll find this spectacular venue in the heart of the City. This recent opener, spans three floors including, a manicured garden, fine dining restaurants and if it’s a drink with a view you’re after, head to the Sky Pod Bar. The Sky Garden is available for private hire, but does come with a price tag of varying degree depending on which space you choose and how much of the venue you require. To take over three levels of the Sky Garden would come with a cost of £50k venue hire, expensive yes, but for something this unique in the heart of London, perhaps worth the splurge!

The Best View

Finally, we have Madison, perched atop One New Change’s roof terrace and overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral. Madison really does offer something unique, blending stylish furnishings with a generous side order of culture. Over the Summer months, Madison is a great option for outdoor events as it boasts a selection of terraces available for private bookings, but it's still a great spot in Autumn/Winter, offering heaters, umbrellas and evening lighting which ensures the terraces remain an all year round hotspot. Catering for anything from small groups to groups of up to 250 guests, it's an option that's well worth a look for all sorts of group sizes.   So there you have it, did we get our top picks right or do you know of any undiscovered gems?
