Transport

Flying into Glasgow or Edinburgh from London (or regional UK airports) is the usually the fastest and most cost-effective transport option for corporate groups. British Airways, BMI and a number of other carriers offer flights from across the UK.

Glasgow and Edinburgh are both well served by trains from London and all other major UK cities. Journey times by train from London are around 4-5 hours, and around 2 hours from Manchester or York.

Taxis and hire cars can be easily arranged for pick up and drop off at multiple city, highland or coastal locations to suit your itinerary.

Where to Go & What to Do

Gleneagles golfFrom fine-dining in vibrant cities to deer-stalking in the glens, and from tossing the caber to blending your own whisky, Scottish incentive trips have a huge amount to offer. Our must-dos list includes:

Edinburgh: Dynamic and exciting, stay in Edinburgh for canal cruises, world-class comedy and dining, or book your incentive around a 2018 Six Nations game at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium. Then head out of the city for your own privately organised Highland Games, golf or the Glenkinchie Distillery tour. ,

Gleneagles: This luxurious, immersive 1920’s legend has recently undergone extensive redevelopment, and the hotel is now truly world-class. The golf is exceptional (the PGA Centenary course hosted the 2014 Ryder Cup), and the hotel boasts Andrew Fairlie's two Michelin-starred restaurant and the best spa in Scotland.

St Andrews: Treat your people to a night or two at St Andrews Old Course Hotel, complete with golf on the Duke's St Andrews, a private 4x4 tour of the surrounding countryside, and a champagne picnic on West Sands Beach.

The Highlands: Think outside the box, and head north for your Scottish incentive trips. Think unreal outdoor activities – sailing on the lochs, orienteering challenges or a helicopter tour through the beautiful highland glens.

Restaurants, Venues & More

Edinburgh is the starting point for most Scottish incentive trips, and offers some outstanding Michelin-starred restaurants (including Martin Wishart and the near-legendary Number One at the Balmoral Hotel). Landmarks from the Botanic Gardens to Edinburgh Castle can also be booked for jaw-dropping, memorable drinks receptions, meals and more.

Glasgow may (still!) be lacking Michelin stars, but it offers some great restaurants including The Gannet and the West End's intimate, informal Stravaigin. West Brewery houses a beerhall-style bar, a good restaurant and a private events space overlooking the working brewery.

Beyond the cities Scotland offer next-level venues including outstanding stand-alone destination restaurants, Highland castles, and some of the best golf in the world.
