Virtual Events: Reviewed

2020 was certainly the year the world got on board with virtual events. Before last year, only a fraction of company’s around the world were harnessing the opportunity but we’ve since seen everything from festivals to exhibitions take to the virtual stage.

Despite everything, we’ve been lucky enough to host some of our most memorable events to date during 2020. From an 80’s themed night with a live DJ set from the world-famous Judge Jules to creative team building events, celebrity chef cook-a-longs and wine and cheese tasting events, it’s been a year to remember that’s for sure. Personalised event packs for every guest

The trend of personalisation has been gathering momentum in the events and marketing industry for the past few years. Whether it’s a live event or incentive trip abroad, attendees crave a personalised experience and it’s no different for virtual events.

Using our MemMail sending service, we’ve been able to create exactly that for our clients’ guests. For some event types, like our celebrity chef cook-a-longs, it’s included within the event format but for others it’s an optional event enhancement that takes it to the next level.

Your guests can expect to receive the items they may need to take part in the event, plus any extras like branded gift items, all packaged in brand coloured tissue paper and box filling and sealed with a branded logo sticker. We also include a handwritten note with your message inside every box.  

Unique event experiences

One of the best things about virtual events is the world of possibility that’s created. Not only in terms of the size and scope that virtual events offer, but also the types of events that are available. Before 2020, we doubt many people had been given the opportunity to attend a private cooking class with a celebrity chef from the comfort of their own home, or had the chance to interact with and ask questions to sporting a sporting legend or famous football star.

Creating sensory experiences

As our Science of Memories research points out, engaging the senses is one of the most effective ways to create lasting memories. That’s why many of our Ready Made Events are designed around food and drink tasting or hands on activities. Audience engagement

Whether it’s a live or virtual event, audience engagement is always our number one priority. Harnessing the power of social media, we’ve created social walls and hashtags to foster engagement and create a community around the event.

They act as the ideal ice breaker for online introductions and are a fun way for guests to share their experience of the event from their own homes.
