Virgin Hotel
Virgin may be a household name across the UK, but they aren’t really known for their hotels. That’s about to change. They are opening their first ever European hotel in the iconic Scottish city of Edinburgh. Slated to open in Spring 2022, this spearhead hotel will slot into the historic Edinburgh Old Town, taking up residency in the listed India Buildings.

Inside the hotel guests will have the option of a wide variety of dining and drinking venues to choose from including their flagship, Commons Club. When it’s time to turn in for the night there are over 200 suites within the hotel, offering a range of sizes and premium options to suit all needs.

This hotel perfectly mixes the heritage of the site with the energy of Edinburgh – one of the ultimate UK destinations.

Clayton
If waiting isn’t an option, then the Clayton Hotel is worth considering. The brand-new Manchester city centre hotel opened in January, taking a slot on busy Portland Street. The luxury hotel is in prime position, only a short walk from Piccadilly Gardens and right in the heart of the city centre.

The stylish modern interior is perfect for the business and social aspects of your corporate event. Clayton boasts a 4-star restaurant and bar, No.55, which offers modern British cuisine made with ingredients sourced from local suppliers. Book tables on the mezzanine and enjoy the view of the bar area on the ground floor. Once the day is done the Clayton has an expansive range of rooms with 329 bedrooms in total to choose from.

Your business agenda is perfectly covered thanks to five meeting rooms, fully equipped with the latest Clevertouch technology, ensuring the Clayton is ideal for events, conferences, and meetings in Manchester.

The Retreat
If city centre stays aren’t in the books, then The Retreat might be the one. The second hotel from British hospitality brand, The Signet Collection, will open its doors in Spring 2022. Tucked into the Newbury countryside, surrounded by 16 acres of grounds, The Retreat is the perfect country-club getaway.

Built in 1772 this listed building now hosts 55 unique bedrooms to stay in. The Retreat is perfect for recharging in the countryside or delving into local culture in Hungerford or Newbury. There is the choice of two restaurants, a brasserie and a pan-Asian, to dine at. Onsite facilities also include whisky tasting, an infinity pool, a sauna, and many more wellness options.

They can accommodate a wide variety of business events using one of their several private dining rooms and meetings areas. Just like the rest of the hotel, these are quirky but luxurious options to add character to any agenda.

LEVEN
LEVEN may be the new name on the block, but their first hotel sets the bar. Located at the corner of Canal Street and Chorlton Street in a historic Victorian redbrick warehouse, it brings a sleek edge to the industrial building. The 42 rooms range from a standard bedroom up to the duplex penthouse suite. The Lobby and Lounge is LEVEN’s hub for coffee, locally sourced pastries, or something harder with classic and new cocktails to choose from.

LEVEN has more to come with a bar and restaurant in its future. But fear not, Manchester’s finest restaurants can be ordered direct to the LEVEN and delivered straight to the rooms. The alternate option is to hire one of their private chefs to cater for the duration of the stay.

In keeping with the locale, LEVEN will soon be hosting DJs every evening to liven up the nightlife of the hotel without having to step out the front door. But don’t worry about the morning after, LEVEN offers free early check-in and late check-out making the stay a bit more relaxed.

Chateau Denmark
April 2022 marks the arrival of Chateau Denmark. Spread across sixteen buildings in London’s famous Soho district, this new brand sets its president as a unique hotel experience in the same street as the previous home to the Sex Pistols.

The musical history of Denmark Street heavily influences Chateau Denmark 55 session rooms and apartments. This is a hotel experience unlike any other, with each room showcasing the building’s history and the heart of Soho. This hotel slots in with the creative expression of Denmark Street and made it its own in each of the unique rooms.

When it comes to food Chateau Denmark is ideally situated right on the doorstep of Soho, filled with hundreds of dining and wining options. The pick of old pubs to modern twists and everything in-between are all within easy walking distance of the hotel.

House of Gods
Edinburgh’s Cowgate has had a colourful past from poverty, to fires, and frivolity, but the opening of House of Gods will mark a new chapter for The Cowgate. This new hotel is anything but ordinary. The smallest on our list with 22 rooms but each one packs a punch. The rooms are decorated with opulence in mind, filled with velvet, tassels, and gilded to harken to the bustling Orient Express or French aristocracy. This will be a stay to remember

If the decoration wasn’t enough, House of Gods gives guests the option to upgrade to VIP to really get that star treatment including – butlers, cocktails, and breakfast hampers for your stay. Lilith’s Lounge, their boutique bar, will be a go-to, VIP or not. Lilith’s Lounge is an extravagant bar with cocktails inspired by rock and roll’s greats and table reservation to top off the experience.

This is a stay to not be missed in Edinburgh. House of Gods is already adding history to The Cowgate and will become a must-see location.
