1) Can events require a Covid vaccine?

Short answer, no. However for anyone over the age of 18, events can require proof of an NHS Covid Pass - meaning in order to be accepted into the event you must have proof of one of the following:

  • Vaccination with 2 doses of an approved vaccine (or one of the single-dose Janssen vaccine) – being kept under review as boosters are being administered
  • Having taken a PCR or rapid lateral flow test within the last 48 hours with a negative result
  • Exemption on the basis of an approved medical exemption or clinical trial participation

Travel guidelines depend on the country you intend to travel to.

2) How do events affect the stock market?

Stock prices constantly change due to fluctuating supply and demand. The more people that want to buy a product, the more the price will increase. Likewise, the more people try and sell, the price decreases.

A singular event won't effect the stock market alone, however the effects of the event could.
