Summary

We are seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis, 3 days per week on either a freelance or permanent basis. Based in Heald Green, this role is vital in managing our financial records and ensuring accuracy in our accounting processes. Your contributions will support our mission to provide outstanding services to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Sales ledger
  • Purchase ledger
  • Creation of all invoice and estimates
  • Bank and credit card reconciliation
  • DEXT receipt matching
  • Debtor Chasing
  • Journals
  • Management of client credit accounts
  • Project matching between CRM and Quickbooks
  • Weekly payments and management of all payments for the business
  • Team training and feed-back
  • Management of Soldo client cards
  • Project reconciliation in quickbooks against excel budgets
  • Cashflow management
  • Management accounts for SLT
  • VAT submissions
  • Cashbook postings
  • Maintaining asset register
  • Analysis of past and future event projects
  • Managing accruals and pre-payments of projects
  • VAT returns
  • Liaising with auditors at year end
  • Stock reporting and monitoring
  • Overseas payments, using best rate
  • Overseas VAT reclaims

Skills and Experience

  • Quick-books experience essential 
  • All round accounting experience in an SME
  • Minimum 5 year’s experience
  • Fully qualified AAT essential
  • Knowledge of CRM Dynamics desirable
  • Strong excel skills

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

Pay: £21,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
