Account Executive

The purpose of the role:

The Account Executive is an entry level position responsible for working with client accounts, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and driving business growth. This role involves managing relationships with key clients and collaborating with internal teams to develop and execute tailored solutions that meet client objectives.

The Account Executive is a non-operational role but would be on-site at selected events for client relationship building.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, understanding their objectives, and providing tailored solutions that align with their goals.
  • Be responsible for ensuring accurate and up to date stakeholder mapping, building solid rapport with assigned clients across entire business. Continually seek out new relationships within a business.
  • Customer facing, be able to adapt their style to match the customer.
  • Generate new business by identifying leads, presenting event concepts, with prospective clients. Upsell and cross-sell services to existing clients as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute events that meet client specifications, timelines, and budgets. Provide regular updates on any commercial discussions that may impact operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all client communications, sales activities, and event details. Provide regular reports to management on account insights.
  • Conduct post-event reviews with clients to assess satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for future business.
  • Working in our CRM system to maintain client information and communication.
  • Inquisitive by nature with analysis on spend, highlighting value of relationship and any savings delivered.
  • Undertake annual review of customer terms, fees and contracts.
  • Contribute to Inconnection strategic objectives and goals.
  • Achieve development goals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with clients and team members.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of marketing and promotion techniques.
  • Office-based undertaking regular in person review meetings. This role does require flexibility to frequently travel domestically within the UK. Flexible working hours may be necessary to accommodate client schedules.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £25,000.00 per year
